If you detect that you have a case of web cannibalization, it is best to discover which post or page with the same word ranks more and join forces. For example, if you have two posts with the same keyword, it is best to do a 301 redirect from the post with the least reputation to the main one.

Don’t check broken links

It is useless for search engines to point to our site and for the user to see a page that does not exist. This will also increase the bounce rate. The best thing is to analyze the pages of our website and see that everything is in order. For this task we can use tools like Screaming Frog .

Do not work the link building

It is important to have control of the external links that point to our website and that these are not of low reputation. Nor should we use bad techniques such as buying massive links. The most important thing is that they are natural links and from websites of the same theme.
